Direct information and data integrity of training environment and internal I.T. function, including data center and production scheduling functions, communication networks (voice and data), computer program development, and computer systems operations. Provide overall management and definition of all computer and communication activities within group. Lead day-to-day operations of training facility. Synchronize I.T. department plans with overall department plans, the department plans with division goals and objectives. Prescribe frequency and formats for I.T. department's submission of data, including budgets. Implement a wide-area network and server infrastructure to support ERP (PeopleSoft), build migrations plans for phasing out Novell 3.12 and 4.1 for Microsoft NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. Establish a migration strategy for converting mail systems from cc:Mail to Exchange 5.5. Design Microsoft trust relationships and implement a security structure to serve long-term requirements of company. Migrate X.25 links to frame relay and implement dial-in and VPNs for redundancy.

Design and implement I.T. systems for Compaq's largest accounts, i.e., Shell, Halliburton, Texaco, NASA, AT&T, US West, and MCI. Work closely with sales division to eliminate obstacles to new sales and troubleshoot difficult issues. Serve as technical advisor on committee to provide road-map technical information for long-term technical planning to Fortune-500 CIOs and CEOs. Develop Compaq's server diagnostics course for service providers and ASE candidates. Compose service bulletins and advisories. Initiate engineering product problem reports to address service issues and customer concerns. Work on project rollouts with major accounts to deploy new server and client hardware and applications bundles. Awarded honors twice as being in the top 5% of employees; won directors' club several years.

Design, install and maintain a 400-user client server X86-based network to meet engineering, manufacturing and sales requirements. Design air-conditioning and heating systems for residential and light commercial applications. Compose installation and operation manuals and homeowners' instructions manuals. Design relay logic control systems and create run-test equipment to boost product quality. Create bill of materials in relational database and coordinate parts procurement for cost control.

Perform component-level repair of all avionic systems on civilian fixed and rotary-wing aircraft to include VHF, HF, Transponders, ADF, GPS, autopilots and pilot static systems. Familiar with signal generators, ociliscilopes, digital and analog multimeters and frequency counters. Supervise mechanics and electricians in daily activities. Implement maintenance schedule for proactive control of work flow.
