MICROSOFT MCSE Upgrades
DTC's unique upgrade program provides the training you need to upgrade your MCSE certification to Windows 2003.
The course comprises 2 sections:
Part 1: NT 4.0 MCSE to Windows 2000 MCSE
(2 days)
2-day course based upon MOC course number 1560, providing Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 support professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to support Microsoft Windows 2000-based networks. This is a performance-based course, designed around the job-related tasks a support professional must perform using new or modified features in the Windows 2000 operating system. This course has been modified to maximize exposure to active directory.
Part 2: Windows 2000 MCSE to Windows 2003 MCSE

*For night tracks, this number equates to the number of weeks of training, since one full day becomes 2 evenings.
- Single Upgrade - Students take Part 2 only in order to upgrade MCSE certification from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. The following exams are required:
- Exam 70-292: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment for an MCSA Certified on Windows 2000
- Exam 70-296: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment for an MCSE Certified on Windows 2000
- Double Upgrade - Students take Parts 1 and 2 in order to upgrade MCSE certification from NT 4.0 to Windows 2003. The following exams are required:
- Exam 70-290: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
- Exam 70-291: Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
- Exam 70-293: Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
- Exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
- Exam 70-270: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Exam 70-298: Designing Security for a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network
